At Lynn Vineyard we like to try and be an outward focused church. As a church we support the Purfleet Trust and the work it does amongst the homeless and disadvantaged. One of the ways we do this is passing on food bags, sleeping bags, clothes and other practical items of use. There is always a pink bucket at the back of the room where you can put your gifts and donations to support this ministry. We pray that God will give us eyes to see the needs within our community. John Wimber the founder of Vineyard churches and some of his very tired burnt-out friends, found that when you are too tired to do anything and feeling discocuraged because of life, if you sing praise and worship God meets us, the Holy Spirit comes and refreshes us, we connect with God as a group and as individuals. We are called to worship.

Next is a time of relevant teaching from the bible. This should not only challenge us and encourage us but help us in our daily journey through life.

We then have a time of prayer ministry where we invite the Holy Spirit to come, we will pray for anyone who would like prayer. We we are a church which believes that God Heals today.

DO EVERY THING WITH PRAYER

Prayer going on within Lynn Vineyard goes a bit like this.......
We pray @ home groups for each other and sometimes other issues.
We pray for people who ring/text/email with news of others (or themselves),with illnessess, accidents & emergencies, quick prayers via the PRAYER CHAIN

PRAYER BREAKFASTS are being arranged so please keep an eye on the notice sheets for details

Some people like to interceed for other Vineyard churches in the East Anglia & Kent area via a monthly prayer sheet. If you are a part of Lynn Vin and would like to receive a prayer sheet please just let us know.

Prayer and fasting days for the area are the first Friday's of the month, why not miss a meal or snack time and add extra prayer on that day, it's amazing what a little extra prayer and praise can make to others and ourselves.

We don't believe in forcing people to attend everything we do, but we do know that we should all live a life where our prayers and praying together is very important.
Lets keep praying
